Data Retention

Personal data of Clients will be processed until the contractual relationship ends. The retention period for personal data will be the minimum necessary, and may be retained up to the following periods: 

• 4 years: Law on Infractions and Penalties in the Social Order (obligations related to affiliation, registration, deregistration, contributions, payment of wages, etc.); Articles 66 and following of the General Tax Law (accounting books, etc.)

In no case will “Mega Online” extract data from social media platforms unless explicit and specific consent is obtained from the User for such actions. Furthermore, “Mega Online” is not responsible for the privacy practices of these social media platforms or their applications, especially regarding confidentiality, personal data processing, and content. 

Staff Selection 

The applicant who sends electronic communications to "Mega Online" in order to participate in the recruitment processes of the responsible party authorizes us to analyze the documents sent (e.g., CV), all content directly accessible through Internet search engines (e.g., Google), the profiles they maintain on professional social networks (e.g., LinkedIn), the data obtained from access tests, and the information revealed in the job interview, with the aim of evaluating their application and, if applicable, offering them a job position. In the event that the candidate is not selected, "Mega Online" may retain their CV for a maximum of two years to consider them for future openings, unless the candidate states otherwise. The legal basis that legitimizes this process will be the consent of the interested party, which may be revoked at any time.
