MARITIME
TRANSPORT

This is quintessentially the most used transportation method internationally because it is the most cost-effective and diversified, the container being the most well-known and used method in the last 60 years.

We work with a wide range of facilities which are suitable for the storage of IMO cargo and valuables; customs warehouses, with controlled temperatures, frozen or authorized for alcoholic drinks or tobacco.

We manage bulk cargo, cargo in holds, and roll-on, roll-off cargo. Within the wide variety of containers that we use at all ports, we'll highlight the characteristics of those most used:

DRY VAN

This is the standard container, the 3 most used dimensions are 20'dv, 40'dv, and 40'hq. It is hermetically sealed and does not have ventilation nor temperature control.

REEFER

This type of container is used for the transportation of cargo that requires temperature control. From the moment that it enters the terminal, as well as on board the ship, it requires an electronic connection to maintain the temperature at the programmed levels.

TANK OR CISTERN

These are specially designed equipment for the transportation of bulk liquids.

OPEN TOP

These are containers that are open at the roof and only have a canopy as protection. They are used for cargo that, because of their height, do not fit into a dry container or that, because of their dimensions, require an open top container to be able to carry out the loading/unloading operation.

FLAT RACK

These containers lack sidewalls, and, in general, the front and back are foldable to facilitate the transport of pieces that do not fit into dry containers.

LCL

Less-than-container load services are used for cargo that does not fill a container. The client pays by the volume or weight of their merchandise, and this is consolidated inside a container with other cargo that has the same origin and destination.
